Detect Only What You Need

K-band microwave detection is less likely to penetrate walls, ensuring that the detection performance is confined to the protected area, and nowhere else.

Pioneering Active Infrared Technology

With Capture, Texecom’s Grade 3 anti-masking technology has been significantly enhanced. Similar to a camera flash, the Capture active infrared LED produces a smaller initial flash before every lens masking detection; removing background noise and improving detection accuracy.

New Active IR Detection Algorithm

Using the latest infrared and photo sensing technology, Texecom has perfected a new Active IR detection algorithm that maximises sensitivity to masking objects whilst minimising interference to prevent false masking activations.

Ricochet enabled wireless devices receive and repeat wireless transmissions from other devices. The size, scalability and range of the entire system are extended as wireless signalling is not limited by point-to point communications.

Greater Range, Greater Security

The range of a Ricochet enabled wireless system is greater, with multiple devices capable of relaying messages to and from even the most remote locations in a building.

Self-Healing

Each Ricochet enabled device provides signalling routes to and from a Ricochet enabled system. Should wireless connection between two devices weaken, the network will ‘self-heal’ and automatically re-route communications via alternate Ricochet enabled devices.

Automatically adjusts the detector’s sensitivity based on room temperature for optimum PIR performance.

Selectable Sensitivity

The sensitivity of the detector can be adjusted to match the installation environment providing better detection accuracy and consequently better false alarm immunity.

Automatic Sensitivity Adjustment

Filters out background disturbances by automatically adjusting the detector’s sensitivity according to its environment.

Active White Light Rejection

Measures light levels in the room and actively rejects any sources of white light (e.g. car headlights, direct sunlight).

Anti-Jarring

Eliminates false alarms caused by sudden shocks to the detector triggering electrical signals.
