We’re proud to share that Texecom has been certified by Ecovadis, earning a Commitment Badge in recognition of our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and enhance sustainability across our supply chain. This achievement reflects our dedication to continuous improvement and responsible business practices.

Our ESG objectives

Our ESG strategy is built around four key pillars:

• Emissions Reduction: Driving energy efficiency across our facilities and operations.
• Empowering Women in Security: Supporting diversity and gender equality within the security industry.
• Investing in Our People: Fostering an inclusive, supportive, and diverse workplace for all colleagues.

In addition, Texecom is aligned with eight of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this commitment, we aim to improve our social impacts, drive diversity, equity and inclusion across our business, and enhance long-term environmental sustainability for future generations.

Progress over the past year

Over the last 12 months, we’ve made significant progress towards our ESG objectives, driven by the Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) and customer expectations for a more sustainable future. Key achievements include:

• Replacing all energy-intensive lighting with LED lighting.
• Investing in energy-efficient manufacturing technologies, including new wave solder and nitrogen generation equipment.
• Transitioning to 100% smart meters for electricity and gas usage.
• Optimising compressors to eliminate wasted energy during non-working hours.
• Installing power shut-off timers on air conditioning units to reduce energy use outside office hours.

Looking ahead

Our journey towards sustainability is ongoing. Over the coming year, we’re focused on:

• Increasing our use of renewable electricity.
• Reducing the amount of non-recyclable packaging used with our products.
• Supporting local communities through charitable giving and engagement.
• Continuing to enhance employee wellbeing and create a positive, modern working environment.
• Working with suppliers to further reduce carbon emissions and packaging waste.
