Texecom Guardian brings professional guard response to Texecom Connect 

Texecom Guardian, delivered in partnership with Aura, gives installers a simple new way to enhance customer protection, add value to existing installations and create an additional recurring revenue opportunity. 

Available through the Texecom Connect app, Texecom Guardian is a professional guard response service delivered in partnership with Aura, the UK’s leading provider of technology-enabled security services. Following an alarm activation, customers can request a professional security officer directly through the app. Aura’s 24/7 Control Room receives the alarm details and location, with a vetted, SIA-licensed and ACS-accredited responder assigned to attend the property. Customers receive live updates through the app, with police escalation where required. 

Built into Texecom Connect by default 

Texecom Guardian is enabled within the Texecom Connect app by default, making the service available to customers without the need for additional hardware, changes to the alarm system or a separate app feature installation. 

For systems using SmartCom Pro, Guardian can operate alongside Texecom Monitor and does not affect existing signalling paths or URNs. 

Installers retain control through Texecom Cloud, where Guardian can be disabled if they do not wish to offer the service to a particular customer. This gives installers a simple way to manage the feature without additional site visits or technical intervention. 

Another opportunity for recurring revenue 

Guardian gives installers a straightforward way to extend the services they offer to their existing customer base. An installer rebate is available for active Guardian customers, providing an additional recurring revenue opportunity alongside installation and servicing. 

The service provides on-demand professional guard response through Aura, live updates through the app, nationwide SIA-licensed and ACS-accredited responders, unlimited call-outs subject to fair usage, and police escalation where required. 

Texecom Guardian is currently available exclusively in the UK.
