Level 2 – Elevated Training
Level 2 is an elevated training module aimed at the experienced security engineer who needs to learn more about the Premier Elite and its peripherals. This module will cover the following topics:
- Premier Elite overview
- General wiring including network, zones and sounders
- Programming zones, timers, config, Part sets, System Text and User codes/fobs
- Wireless learn & commissioning process (Ricochet Mesh Technology) Hands on learn and delete procedure
- SmartCom Pro connection through Monitor Mode (Version 6)

Level 3 is an advanced training module aimed at the experienced security engineer & Premier Elite installer, offering extended programming options and advanced diagnostics. This module will cover the following topics:

Market-Specific Intruder Alarm Skills – India
Texecom Academy India is a pan-India training programme aimed at developing the skills of intrusion alarm engineers.
The 2-day programme provides professional hands-on training for engineers, covering all aspects related to the technical design and installation of Texecom intrusion alarm systems.

We’ve partnered with industry-leading technical training provider Tavcom to provide a BTEC course in intruder alarms and created a free bitesize course on detection devices.
Apprentice Competitions
Texecom is proud to support the Engineers of Tomorrow competition, as it helps to raise the profile of engineering apprenticeships and the opportunities they represent within the sector.
Taking place at the IFSEC and FIREX International each year, winners of regional heats compete in a live installation challenge at the show, where over 34,000 visitors are in attendance. In addition, the winners will proceed to the final of WorldSki’s UK LIVE, the nation’s premier skills, apprenticeships and careers event.

Texecom are offering free Cloud services accounts for all colleges and training providers, allowing tutors and students to integrate digital services into their learning programme. The TexecomPro app is available to all security professionals and gives online access to all of our manuals, hints and tips, plus a wealth of how-to videos.
