It’s fair to say 2020 has not been the year any of us were expecting. It has been challenging, we have all made sacrifices, and there are still further obstacles in our path as we try to get back to 'normal'.

Some things will always remain unchanged; Texecom would not be here without you. In these times your tenacity to protect the things people care about has been more important than ever – and we wanted to say thank you.

Whether you have been out fitting our equipment, responding to surveys, helping us test new products like SmartCom 4G and Connect V2, or even requesting and buying our new Capture sensors we are truly grateful.

We wish you all the very best for 2021 and we look forward to working with you for many years to come.

Our holiday opening times:

Tech support - 24th, 29th, 30th, 31st December 9am - 5pm, back to normal 4th Jan 2021.

Last shipping date to distributors - 23rd December 2020.

Sales - Closed 4pm 24th December, back open as normal 4th January 2021.

New Texecom Connect V2 App open beta now available

New Texecom Connect V2 App open beta now available

Many thanks to all installers who trialled the new version of the Texecom Connect app (V2) on open beta.

We used the open beta trial to ensure that our new version of the Texecom Connect app, now managed through an installer’s Texecom Cloud account, was endorsed by installers before we fully launch to market.

We’ve received invaluable feedback on the new app version. While we have kept all the positive features in place, we have updated the Texecom Connect (V2) app to improve the service based on three specific pieces of installer feedback:

I’m on the free Texecom Cloud membership option - can Texecom Connect (V2) offer extra value to me?

Texecom Connect (V2) app management is now available to ALL Texecom Cloud managed systems, regardless of Cloud membership tier. Details available here >

I already have all my Texecom Connect (V1) systems set up in the app. Can I migrate all my systems to V2 in one go?

We have added the ability for installers to login to the Texecom Connect (V2) app using their Texecom Cloud credentials, and automatically migrate all Texecom Connect (V1) systems to their Texecom Cloud account. Details available here >

Can you make the set up process more intuitive?

We have made steps to improve, simplify and clarify the installation set up. With new setup screens added, and a step-by-step installation process, offering Texecom Connect (V2) to new or existing system users is now easier than ever. Details available here >

The updated Texecom Connect (V2) is now available on open beta, identified as revision V2.00 (16).
