Veritas Panel User

Q) Should I have my alarm regularly maintained?

A) Yes a regular service will ensure the alarm system is operating correctly.

Q) We have an alarm fitted but do not know who installed it. Who can work on my alarm?

A) The majority of installers will be familiar with Texecom equipment. We would suggest using an industry approved installer from one of the following websites: 

www.nsi.org.uk
www.ssaib.org

Q) What is my user code?

A) Texecom are a manufacturer and do not hold any codes. The Factory default user code is 4321. However, this may have been changed by you alarm installer. 

Q) I do not know the code for the system, how do I get a new code?

A)If you do not know the user code for the system you will need to contact your alarm installer to re-program the system.

Q) The unset light or power light is flashing. What does this mean?

A) The mains power may be switched off. If the mains power is on, then the battery may need replacing. You will need to contact your alarm installer to replace the battery. 

Q) The Tamper light is illuminated, what does this mean?

A) There is a 24 hour tamper fault on the system that could be linked to the external sounder, panel lid tamper, global zone tamper and/or the keypad tamper. You will need to contact your alarm installer to inspect the system.
