Texecom is no longer supplying printed copies of installation manuals with Texecom electronic security products manufactured after Monday 21st January.

Printing hard copies of installation manuals and supplying with each individual product is extremely wasteful, increasingly expensive, damaging to the environment and, crucially, does not guarantee the latest information relating to digitally-enabled and remotely upgradable security products.

Texecom installation manuals are always available and always up to date to professional security installers on our free TexecomPro app and on the Texecom website.

Texecom has developed the TexecomPro app specifically to enhance and support professional installers who design, install and maintain Texecom security systems. Available free on iOS and Android, TexecomPro is the go-to resource for all Texecom technical information.

Texecom is pleased to announce firmware updates for Premier Elite control panels and Texecom Connect SmartCom communicators.

Premier Elite V5.00 Firmware

Premier Elite V5.00 firmware facilitates control panel firmware upgrades when used with the Texecom Connect SmartCom V2.00 (and above) and a valid Texecom Cloud subscription.

Premier Elite V5.00 compatible with:

Wintex V7.0.0 & Ricochet Monitor V2.18.7

Premier Elite V5.00 firmware is now available on all Premier Elite control panels. Texecom registered installers can access details of all Premier Elite firmware versions on the ‘Support’ page of the Texecom website. Premier Elite V5.00 is compatible with SmartCom V1.3 and above.

Texecom Connect SmartCom V2.00 Firmware

To upgrade an installed Texecom Connect SmartCom, simply access the site via the Texecom Cloud or via the Texecom Connect App using the control panel engineer’s code, and follow the instructions found here.

The upgrade process will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and during this time the Texecom Connect SmartCom will be offline. Once completed, the Texecom Connect SmartCom will operate normally.
