Premier Elite V3.00 New Peripheral Devices

Texecom has recently launched Premier Elite V3.00 firmware, upgrading all Premier Elite control panels to Texecom’s most powerful and resilient security alarm firmware to date.

V3.00 firmware supports two new Premier Elite peripheral devices; a new speech module for transmitting pre-recorded audio messages, and a new communicator port adaptor that converts the onboard digital communicator port into a third serial communication port.

Premier Elite Speech Module

The Premier Elite Speech Module is a plug-on PCB that provides four recordable 10 second audio messages. Each message is assigned to a digital communications channel that can be triggered from any control panel output type.

The Premier Elite Speech Module is only compatible with Premier Elite control panels containing V3.00 firmware or above, Premier Elite control panel hardware revision 3 or above, and requires a Premier Elite Com2400 digital communicator.

The Premier Elite Speech Module is available individually for upgrading systems already featuring a Premier Elite Com2400 communicator, or as part of a kit that contains a Premier Elite Com2400 digital communicator.

The Premier Elite ComPort+ is available in a pack of 5 adaptors.

*Except the Premier Elite 640, which has three serial communicator ports as standard
**When fitted with a ComPort+, the onboard digital communicator cannot be used
